Visit to Mount Vernon

On President’s Day we took advantage of the free admission to visit Mount Vernon. The boys had a great time roaming around the plantation, exploring the farm’s log cabin and watching the livestock. The highlight of the day for David was the Fife and Drum Corps. Ethan enjoyed the militia demonstration by “The Commander’s Own” brigade, complete with “real shooting with real guns!” We have posted pictures at our “HowardsAbroad” photo site, here.
